Thoughts shift , layer, mix and move.I think of it as one of my emotional landscapes.The composition is dense but the eye is guided round the painting for a balanced effect. The colours blend into each other with subtle transitions, as thoughts do.However as the work progressed I was drawn towards the energy of the brushstrokes suggesting moments of clarity interrupted by uncertainty. The brushwork is varied, sometimes energetic and sometimes soft.
The painting was conceived as a reflection of an emotional atmosphere.
I wanted a modern chiaroscuro concept, where light emerges gradually from darker passages, creating a sense of emotional transitions. The painting invites quiet reflection, allowing viewers to project their own emotional rhythms onto its layered surface.
