Graduated colour transitions suggest movement between calm and energy, but the overall feeling is one of quiet reflection. There is no tension, and as I painted, I was thinking of the infinite possibilities open to us in our daily lives. But then, life is what you make it.. The colours chosen are designed to convey harmony and peace. I opted for the red scheme as I wanted the work to offer a poetic space for reflection and inspiration. I see the work in a classic setting to be revisited with pleasure.
